Located within Toronto Metropolitan University, the Future Skills Centre undertakes research and informs governments, the private sector, labour, educational training institutions, non-for-profits, and academics on the broader adoption of novel approaches to training and skills development.

The CEIC plays a leadership role in overseeing the Employment Insurance (EI) program. The Commission has the legislated mandate to annually monitor and assess the EI program.
Council of the Federation (COF)

Western Premiers’ Conference (WPC)
The WPC is held annually and allows premiers and governments from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut to work together on important issues.

CMEC is an intergovernmental body founded in 1967 and provides leadership in education at the pan-Canadian and international levels and contributes to the exercise of the exclusive jurisdiction of provinces and territories over education.
Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA)

The CCDA is a voluntary intergovernmental partnership among the provinces and territories, which are responsible for apprenticeship training and trade certification, and the federal government. The CCDA supports the development of skilled trades in Canada and manages the Red Seal Program.
Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF)
Founded in 1980, the CCDF is a non-profit organization that works to advance career services and the capacity of the profession. They are a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of career development.
Ministers Responsible for Social Services (MRSS)
The MRSS comprise of federal, provincial and territorial Ministers responsible for social services who work together to address key social policy issues.
Canadian Association of Administrators of Labour Legislation (CAALL)
Established in 1938, CAALL is an association of federal, provincial, territorial departments of labour and heads of occupational safety and health agencies, focusing on national issues that impact labour matters.
