FLMM Initiatives

Each year, thousands of Canadians move from one province or territory to another for work. Certificate-to-certificate recognition from one province or territory to another benefits both workers and employers, and supports a skilled workforce to adapt to a rapidly changing labour markets.

The FLMM is finding ways to reduce barriers to labour mobility, continuing to support certified workers to practice their regulated occupation throughout Canada, and working to improve the recognition of the certification in regulated occupations.

The Labour Mobility website is a valuable resource to workers who have moved, or are thinking about moving, to a new province or territory for work.
